Mole Removal

Moles are hyperpigmented spots or irregularities found on the skin, varying in shape and size. They can be present at birth, or can begin to appear over time overmuch of the body’s surface,including the face, chest, back, torso, and extremities. Most moles are considered not harmful. However, some moles may pose dangerous health risks and may become pre-cancerous. Mole removal is achieved by either laser ablation or surgical excision. The type of mole being removed determines what technique is used. Depending on the technique, stitches may or may not be used.
